That face…It mocks me!!! Mako was so cute in that episode and I assumed it was OOC of him to act like that but then again, this kid is not Zuko. He just acts like any guy would if they were to bump into some hot chick which is why I love this character! XD I still ship Makorra despite this love triangle going on.

I completed this a few minutes ago but started on doing this sketch around 11:30 so I can’t really pinpoint the date this piece was made whether it was yesterday or today. So I’m sticking with today’s date. So anyway…
As I was drawing chibi caricatures for the organization I am working for, I was in an artsy mood to draw more. It all started with the head which then lead to draw out the whole body. No reference was used whatsoever in the making. It all came just naturally. The shoulders look a bit too…broad but that’s because I am used to drawing guys plus I’m always hunched over anyway…I’m supposed to present myself just as I do all the time, as depressing looking! hahaha XDD The head came out to meh but I did what I could. The is supposed to be a bit big since I do inherit my father’s big nose :P I’ll probably do some revisions of this but at the moment, I’m pretty satisfied! :) BTW I’m wearing my jammies in this portrait hahaha….

This is the first cover of “The Home” by Portugal, The Man I saw as I was looking for the original track itself to link it on facebook after listening to this track on my iPod. It just caught me by surprise by his amazing vocals and acoustic guitar. Why doesn’t this video receive many views it deserves??? This man got talent! Can…can I marry him? Hahahaha XD
After about an hour of listening to some music because I was BORED out of my freakin’ mind, I suddenly had the urge to sketch something. I didn’t know what but after looking at Vol 7. of Adventures of Tintin (the one with three stories in it) that I borrowed from the library, I decided to do another Tintin fan art. I chose to recreate a pose that was featured in Flight 214 which is this: http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f259/crazyneo101/214scene.png
and that alone was the only reference I had to draw this. I should have taken the time to draw Calculus and Haddock in my style but there wasn’t enough room. Plus, I wanted to focus on only one person at the moment. It was a total pain getting the shoes put together but I did what I could. It’s actually the first time I actually drew Tintin’s full body so that’s something I should be proud of which is why I had to turn on my laptop and upload this sketch. Some of the anatomy is a bit out of place so constructive criticism is much needed to improve them! I may wind up having this drawing colored one of these days :P
Seems like I got some of my creative juices back up and I owe it all to music! I feel the need to take a challenge and do more sketches like this so I can improve as an artist! I look forward to seeing what else I would wind up making! XD

As if it’s not evident by now, I’m a new fan of the Adventures of Tintin series and the series has turned me into a Tintinophile! I just had to do something for my facebook timeline and decided to make this in doing so to show my love for the series! :heart: After seeing someone’s banner that was submitted on a graphic design club I joined recently with my friend and it just made me want to make one of my own!
I’ve been working on this baby all day with Photoshop Elements 7.0 that my boss gave me ALL DAY. I’m still getting myself familiar to the software since I’m used to Paint Tool Sai. It was a challenge when I was trying to draw Tintin in Herge’s original style (it doesn’t look much like it but at least I’ve tried) and I was depending on some reference to help me out. Throughout the whole process, I learned to use a background eraser (with the help from the manual) and my god it was dreadful. With Paint Tool Sai, I didn’t have to do such thing. Something tells me I’m gonna like this program more than Tool Sai that’s for sure. I just need a few more tips from those who know how to work photoshop and I’ll be all set!
